廣生行是一家享譽盛名的華人公司,專營香水、化妝品及個人護理用品,產品以「雙妹嚜」作標記,馮福田先生是創辦人之一。1898年首間廣生行在廣州成立,並於1905年在香港開業,此後分店林立,遍佈中國各省市。隨著自設玻璃工場生產獨家品牌的香水瓶和包裝配件,廣生行成功把當時視為奢侈品的香水、化妝品和男女裝飾用品平民化,令「雙妹嚜」風靡海內外,成為家喻戶曉的名字。

檔案保存了廣生行自1908年至1950 年間的文檔和照片。文檔主要與商務有關,包括商業交易的會計記錄、發票和收據、商標註冊證、合約文件和協議書、信件等。此外還有一批超過200張廣生行在中國內地20多個城市、東南亞城市及香港的店舖、工場、貨倉和員工的照片。

The Kwong Sang Hong Fonds consists of textual materials and photographs belonging to Kwong Sang Hong, a renowned Chinese firm specialized in the making and selling of perfumes and various beauty and personal care products under the brand name ‘Two Girls’ Mr Fung Fook Tien was one of the founders. The first Kwong Sang Hong was established in Canton, China in 1898 and in 1905, the Hong Kong store opened. Subsequently more branches were set up in various provinces and cities across China. With its own glass factory producing perfume bottles and phials and packaging accessories for its brand products, Kwong Sang Hong successfully popularized perfumery and beauty products for men and women, which were considered luxurious goods at the time, and‘Two Girls’remained a household word in Hong Kong, China and overseas since then.

Collection materials are mainly business-related documents such as account records of business transactions, invoices and receipts, trademark certificates, contracts and agreements, correspondence, and a large collection of over 200 photographs of its staff, branch stores, factories, warehouses etc. taken in more than 20 cities in Mainland China, Southeast Asian cities and Hong Kong covering a period from 1908 to 1950.
