香港中藥業組合成立於日佔時期，是香港占領地政府對本地中醫藥行業實施衛生法規而下令組成的。檔案內容包括 1942 年香港中藥業組合籌委會舉行的32 次會議的記錄 (46 頁)、390多張由組員簽署的入組志願書 (1942，1943)、800張入組費收據 (1942，1943)、 5,010 張月費收據存根 (1942，1943)、272 封向尚未入組的藥行上門派送而退回的信* (1943)、2 張促交會費信 (1943) 、8張組員欠月費名單 (1944，1945)， 以及記錄組合籌備處開支的裝訂本兩冊 (1942)。該籌委會由黃世河任主席，他是華南印務公司**創辦人，也是聯益行 # 經理，中藥業組合成立後，組合籌備處在 1943 年 4 月 6 日完成第 32 次會議後即行解散。

*這272封是無法投遞的信件，從部份信封底寫上的簡單字句，可推斷是送信人解釋無人收信的原因，例如店舖已人去樓空，或已拆卸、搬遷、倒閉、易手、店主已回鄉或已去世

The Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Association was set up during the Japanese Occupation period under the health regulations imposed by the military government on the local Chinese medicine industry. The fonds consists of minutes of the 32 meetings (46 pages) of the Organizing Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Association in 1942, over 390 copies of the Pledge of Compliance signed by members (1942, 1943), 800 admission fee receipts (1942, 1943), 5,010 monthly fee receipt counterfoils (1942, 1943), 272 returned letters* intended for shops that had not yet joined the Association (1943), 2 letters urging monthly fee payment (1943), 8 sheets of overdue payment list (1944, 1945) and two bound books to record the expenditures of the Organizing Committee. This Organizing Committee, chaired by Wong Sai Ho, founder of Wah Nam Printing Co.** and the then Manager of Luen Yick Hong, was dissolved after its 32nd meeting on April 6, 1943 on completion of its mission to formally establish the Association.

* The 272 letters were undeliverable letters hinted by the brief notes marked on the respective envelops by the messenger on spot. Some were empty shops, some already demolished, relocated, closed down, taken over by new shop or the shop owner had returned to his hometown in China or had already passed away.
