Biographical / Historical
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Hong Kong(香港牛津劍橋會) is an alumni association founded in 1970s on the basis to connect the graduates (now also the current students) of Oxford University and University of Cambridge residing in Hong Kong, through various activities including Annual Boat Race Dinner and Christmas Cocktail Party. Apart from encouraging communications among members, the Society also maintains close ties with Oxford University by engaging in the Campaign for Oxford launched in 1988. The Society officially established the Hong Kong Oxford Scholarship Fund in 1992 as one component of the Campaign, aiming to financially support the Hong Kong postgraduates to further their study in Oxford.
