Biography
傅秉坤在1948年受聘為南海縣私立經緯中學董事，並先後於1949年和1950年擔任旅港南海商會的理事和監事。在社區參與方面，他是佛教慈善組織香海蓮社的居士。傅秉坤與夫人馮寶媛有八名子女 (七子一女)。長子傅德煇，曾任中國海南省海口琼山地方法院檢察官，亦曾在中國外交部駐香港簽證貨單專員辦事處工作。
Foo Ping Kwan was appointed Director of a private high school in Nam Hoi county in 1948. He was also Director and Supervisor of Nam Hoi Traders’Association Ltd., Hong Kong in 1949 and 1950 respectively. As for community involvement, he was a householder (Buddhism) of Heung Hoi Lin Association, a Buddhist
charitable organisation in Hong Kong. Foo Ping Kwan had eight children, 7 sons and a daughter. Foo Tak Fai is the eldest son. He was a prosecutor of the King Shan District law court in Hoi Hau, Hoi Nam province, China. He also worked in the Chinese Consular Invoice Office, Hong Kong.
