Scope and Contents
商務函件分兩類 : 外來及內部函件，是1931－1941 及 1950－1960 年間與商務有關的信件。外來函件包括華南印務公司與客戶的生意往來信 (約650張，包括信件副本，及32封電報)、與政府部門的來往信 (5張)，及與律師就法庭傳召欠款聆訊的來往信 (共11 張)等。內部函件則包括華南印務香港總公司或工廠與新加坡分公司 (叻局)的來往信、備忘文件和便條等共700多張。
Correspondences in this sub-series are of two types: external and internal correspondence covering the periods 1931-1941 and 1950-1960. External correspondence includes letters (plus letter copies) and telegrams sent between Wah Nam Printing Co. and its customers (totaling 32 telegrams and around 650 sheets of letter paper), Wah Nam’s correspondence with government departments (5 sheets) and solicitors’ correspondence with Wah Nam regarding a debt case in court (11 sheets). Internal correspondence, on the other hand, comprises letters, memos and notes sent between Wah Nam head office/factory in Hong Kong and its branch office in Singapore (totaling 700 plus sheets).
