This sub-series contains a variety of contractual papers including purchase agreements between Chung Kwong and goods sellers (1938-1941, 1946, 1947, 1950), Certificate of Origin in compliance with the Commonwealth Preferential Ordinances (1941), agreement for a fabric factory to rent Chung Kwong’s weaving machines (1955), contract to take over a shop’s equipment and tools and rental rights (1958, 1961), cargo insurance documents and property insurance policies (1938, 1941, 1950, 1957, 1961, 1962) etc. Also contained in the collection are Dangerous Goods Permit issued to Chung Kwong between 1951 and 1956 and a certificate of standard rent to Chung Kwong in 1954 from Rating and Valuation Department.
