Scope and Contents
商務函件包括中光布廠與其商業夥伴、客戶、代理商之間的商業往來信件共70張，另有電報6張，大部份屬1940年代及1950年代的書信。此外是中光與各政府部門，如香港工業運輸統制官、華民政務司、勞工處、元朗理民府、衛生署、水務局等的往來信件，按內容及時序分別存檔，計自1932至1962年間，政府信件和通告共有 78張。
This sub-series comprises business-related letters between Chung Kwong and its business partners, customers, agents etc. totaling 70 sheets and 6 telegrams, dated mainly in the 1940s and 1950s. There are also correspondences with various government departments like Department of Supplies, Trade and Industries, Secretary for Chinese Affairs, Labour Department, Yuen Long District Office, Health Department, Water Works Department etc. They are grouped separately based on the content and arranged in chronological order. There are altogether 78 sheets of Government letters and notices spanning from 1932 to 1962.
