林聲翕 (1914-1991)，著名作曲家及音樂教育家。童年接觸到基督教唱詩班的音樂，深受其影響。林聲翕在電影音樂、管弦樂及藝術歌曲三方面的創作對香港的音樂作出了重要貢獻。林聲翕在香港音樂教育方面也作出了多項創建，例如，1959年創辦基督教中國聖樂院，1961年創辦明德書院的音樂系，1963年又 任香港清華書院音樂系主任。《林聲翕特藏》主要藏有林聲翕的樂譜及手稿、文字著作、塲刊、唱片、照片等。

《甘兆光(甘豐穗)特藏》保存了大批甘氏捐贈給香港大學圖書館的私人藏書、剪報、手稿、劇本、信件、相片、刊物、舊報和雜件等。除192本印刷書籍註一(當中9本是甘氏的著作)外，數量最多的是剪報，以甘氏筆名 (已知的共13個註二) 刊登的，計有長篇連載及短篇小說共80部、專欄7個，主要刊載於明燈日報、華僑日、晚報、大公報、文匯報、商報等；此外尚有廣播劇本 4部 、撰文 8 篇、社論及特稿共2冊等，都是甘氏於1945至2001年間寫成的。文檔中亦有不少以其他筆名註三 刊載的小說、專欄文章、詩文等，在未確定這些筆名就是甘氏本人前，皆不視為甘氏作品，這方面，我們期待日後從不同渠道得到進一步鑑證。註一： 現時11本存放在港大圖書館 [7 (SC) +1 (FPS) + 3 (甘兆光特藏)]，其餘181本在興偉中心書庫 (Box no. 284，287－292，L1，L5)註二： 甘豐穗，金穗，甘愈，向光，柳煙橋，貝沙，沙波野，祝永平，俞集，柳喬，瑞風，福臨，日升註三：...
