Scope and Contents
財務紀錄涵蓋1919年至1962年間中光布廠的年結數列、分銷處的日常進支記錄、銷售記錄、營業損益申報、生產報表、銀行結單、與銀行的往來信函等。年結數列和進支記錄佔較大部份，它們都是手寫在零散的紙張上。儘管資料欠齊全，但對了解店舖如何運作以及抗日戰爭前後業界面臨的挑戰提供了有用的資訊。
This sub-series consists of the year-end statement of Chung Kwong Weaving Factory, day-to-day income and expenditure record of its retail fabric stores, sales record, balance sheet, production report sheet, bank statement, correspondence with banks etc. covering a period from 1919 till 1962. Year-end closing accounts and income & expenditure record make up the largest portion of this sub-series. They were handwritten on loose at the time. Though incomplete, these materials do provide useful information on how the wholesale & retail store ran and what challenges the manufacturing sector was facing during and after the Sino-Japanese War years.
